    He already removed the latch as stated earlier in the thread.

    Edit: The stability issues I experienced were caused by sata cd-rom and problematic dfi p35 ahci controller. The cpu is running perfectly fine now!

    That might explain why 2 cores are always cooler than the other 2... they are making better contact/closer to the IHS.
