yesterday evening was @ home playing with a normal Asus P5k-e and these TG sticks....and wanted to see if I can beat the previous 690 Mhz i achieved some months ago....

they still work fine....and on X38 P5e they hit again 700 Mhz,.....but not sooo fast...

regarding TG sticks: in Italy we don't have 1300 model, just 1200 as I'm testing and they're GKX

1200 GKX i'm using are in a package and sold with a separate Thermalright Heatsink THAT I DON'T USE...i prefer to put a 120mm fan above them and have a good air recirculation.

test them before wit this HS which is better than previous one adopted by TG....and then you'll decide...

and best wishes to go @ 750 or enter the 800 Mhz club!!

I should be getting my new RMA set of sticks in a day or two and it will most likely be the new stuff. I spoke with a couple people over at Team Research this afternoon and they have changed there style and lost the retarded steel sink they where using though my last sticks did 1400 also but make sure you have serious blower action on them.

Its okay... I think you were having too much fan with your TG 1200 ram lol .. and I would be too but thanks to your success and sharing it with everyone I got the 1300 pair at a really good price again

I just hope my TG-1300 is GKX like yours.... also how did you find out it was GKX and not GMH ? Did you remove the heat spreaders and look at the chips?

/off topic but on that note, how do you find out what revision D9-Micron is being used on the RAM... is there even a way to find out? (CPU-z ... GPU-z ... maybe there is a RAM-z lol )

I have a bunch of extra fans I can put on top of mine too

Ill test them with the stock heatspreaders and then If I see room for improvement I will make the switch over to the other copper heatspreaders I have ... oh and how do you measure the temperature of the RAM ??? maybe RAM-z lol ?

THe 1200 comes naked and with a Thermalright HS which has to be installed. This way I read the IC directly...

newegg is correct, but I don't use it..just fan..

no...i just put my finger on them..it'a very accurate finger...

@Hecktic is that a custom made heatspreader?? is awesome.. i like it bro.. hehehe, iam sure you RAM is GKX because i am indonesia TG distributor, all of XTREEM series are using Micron chip bro.. only Xtreem Dark using Promos, i just have some 1066 4-4-4-12 and TG PM told me this one using GKX heheh you can see the review by benny lodewijk bro....
