not acting as good as your lot
but managed 9.65sec's at 4.8ghz on cold water ~ 5*c.
also managed aqm3 at this speed.
but all 4 cores working... max of 4.5ghz on 20*c water.
plus im kinda limited on my FSB on this 680i SLI mobo to 1299.(Cpu default 1333)

I tested two QX9770 week 41 CPUs with Asus P5E3 WS Professional and R600 CrossFire yesterday. 1,7V from BIOS and rotary cascade cooling.

    Codes were: xxxx28 and xxxx69

I used 3DMark06 CPU benchmark and managed to run xxxx69 @ 5307 MHz while xxxx28 couldn't pass the test even @ 5250 MHz.

Stepping can be just a guide to choosing ok CPU, it is not a rule, sometimes worser (higher) number is better CPU when it comes to overclocking, but generally lower has better chance.

I got two old P4 631 cpus. First one with xxx13 and can go up to ~4.2/4.4ghz with only 1.6v . Second one, 5.6GHz 1.45v is xxx77. Both same, B1 stepping

Like Misko said, it's not a rule

    Nice dozen of cpus there....
It is not fair to be in same competition (hwbot for ex.) with guys like you and sampsa. Most overclockers out there, dosent have the benefit to test so many cpus before they export their results.
