i don't actually use a Gigabyte machine as my 24/7 system so i don't really set the same thing i am suggesting you guys

what i do on benching setups is loosen it up to 8/9 and then tighten back in windows....reason for that is that i've found a FSB boot wall on yorkfield for example while setting a lower value and it was doing my head in why i could not get the damn thing to boot past 410Mhz FSB in last set of testing for example.....after loosening it i was able to boot and bench at 450Mhz without any issues on water heh
Yes, i was wondering about these settings that are listed in memset that are not in the bios. Like the "refresh period" or "tref" in memset with a number like 3120T.

I think these are changed with "performance enhanced" setting in the bios, bcoz if you change it in the bios, memset will show different results. Memory timings seems to be the biggest issue to get this board running right.

Although i had some problems at first with this board, after a bios flash and a little tweaking i really love this board.
