if u value functionality over looks, check out my very simple desk a few pages back (the one with 4x 21" CRT) - its simply a 'standard' sized office desk with a BIG (1.2m x 2.4m) MDF board on top - be advised tho - even then u'll run out of room - at least i have/am

LOL...actually, the poster IS aligned with my monitor and yes, the posters are exactly the same distance apart. Good call on that onee

I have a career in graphic design and so, my eyes have become wide open to little subtleties like that; it's my job to line things up perfectly. That's not to say all graphic design is perfectly aligned, there are lots that break the mold, but I try my best to make everything have mathematical sense, in a way.

dude, i work with a lot of vector graphics in the apparel industry... creating computer "flats" for color renditions and tech packs... and i have to be organized to the extent that my "flats" are detailed down to the zipper teeth in the pockets... but the rest of my room has to balance out the OCD nature of my work... hence... in all this chaos, there IS some order...
