4x1 will not run as good as 2x2 no matter what the board you gonna get a bandwith drop with 4x1
ive tested on 965 p35 x38
i kinda wished i didnt buy another set of ballistix lol
now they 130$can on sale this week lmao
i think they can do 1100 @ 5-5-5-15 with low volts

i just read this(1066 at 5-4-3-8 2T b 2.1v with tRRD-3 tRC-18 tWR-4 tWTR-8... good 1:1 with my q6600... left it at 2.2v for stability (plenty of cooling with antec 900)

but nothing compares to d9s even thought i've had 6 stix die on me

well it says that my board is at the local sorting facility, so hope i get lucky and receive it tomorrow. It will suck if it takes a whole day just to sort my product only to ship it the next day

unfortunately ups will do that to you sometimes. If its any comfort the dual 771 board I ordered the other day on 3 day select was scheduled to deliver tomorrow and came today instead. (thats right i said dual 771, that means dual 45nm quads )

they dont have it in stock yet supposedly monday-wednesday
vancouver to montreal will take 2 days to ship express

It technically got shipped from DFI directly as standard Fedex ground
but i upgraded to the Fedex 3day Xpress and came in 2days

Currently installing windows right now as we speak so hopefully ill
have some time to play with it before i goto bed

Thinking about picking up this motherboard, but I have a few questions:
1. Is there any performance difference/benefit between getting this and the UT P35 version?
2. I'm running 4GB (2x2GB) and I'm interested on what the "Supports x8/x16, non-ECC and up to 1Gb DDRII devices" from motherboardpro.com means.

I think that ship has sailed my friend. 2008 is now expected date for more of the DFI X38 boards. Not sure if Newegg might get any in before the end of the year

I heard that 80% of the first shipment went to the USA but then I wonder why even motherboardpro got only 20pcs?
Whole germany received only 20pcs. through 1 distributor on tuesday. The etailers got them yesterday and all of them are already sold out.

Date for the next shipment in Germany is december 23.

By the time i pre-odered mine, they had 27 remaining
With the last one just being sold right now, last time i spoke with
Mike @ MBP he said he wasnt going to get anymore til next year

I just finished installing windows and all the drivers for the computer but i will have to goto bed soon, will have some basic results tomorrow

That's certainly unfortunate news. I'm on vacation starting on December 15th, until January 2nd. My old pc just essentially died, and is unsalvageable, and I was going to use this DFI board to build the new system around so I could enjoy some gaming while I had the time.

Problems at work held me up very late tonight, and I logged onto MBP as soon as I came home intending to order the board. It showed none in stock. I believe I missed it by just a few minutes. No pc for the holidays, and during my vacation is really, really not a good thing.
