The HR-09U Type2s fit perfectlly, so to confirm, if you guys want an after market cooler for your mosfets on the Maximus the Thermarght HR-09U Type2 is the one you should get.
wow that looks 100% bad ass!, how are your NB temps? iam thinking about going this route with my maximus SE aswell, still room for a 8800GTX with that HR05?,
also on your mosfets you used both HR-09U type 2. for both sides? thx. : D

@kaiden, I'm still waiting on some more stuff to come in before I get it all fired up again, so I can't say about the temp with this setup right now but I'll keep you guys posted.

I tried my 2900XT stock and the SB cooler was in the way so I think your 8800GXT may have the same problem I can't confirm that thou. I would suggest using the HR-05 SLI version and you should be good to go. I'm installing a DangerDen DD29XT water block to my GPU so this setup will work for me.

Yup, HR-09U Type2 on both mosfets, you can use the HR-09S if you want to especially if you have a big heatsink just make sure you get the Type2 version.

@Darkatom, if you check my post earlier you will see some links to where you can get the Type2's at. If the site does not say Type2 on them then they are Type1.

    Hope that helps

i think the hr05 on northbridge would fit with my GTX, then HR05-SLI on the Southbridge?
wish i had both coolers now so i could test fit em, maybe ill have to go with a smaller cooler, like enzotech on the SB wont look as cool as 2 HR05's tho >.<

Your probably right, but you can live with it.

    1 Un-cooling related trivia thing:
Due to the info posted in the main Maximus SE thread, I will be running my memory on the White slots. I also had it confirmed that Vista Ultimate should still install fine with my 4GB plugged in.
I was thinking I had to put 1 module in, install some hot fix, and then install my second memory module.
I now believe that to be incorrect.
    UV Blue Slot Protectors installed.

i believe that to be true aswell, from what ive heard, using the white slots for highly clocked ram is recommended. please let me know if this is false.
