.03 vdroop sure seems alot nicer than the .1 I'm getting on the P35 pro...
question about raid setup in bios: can you designate raid/ide mode per individual sata port or do you have to set all the ports to one or the other?

If it is individual port control, I'm hitting the order button RIGHT NOW!!!

Interesting motherboard, seems to do fine with 4*1GB Ballistix/Micron RAM when OC like the ASUS Formula... The question is, which is best, the Formula or this, specially with 4*1GB config. Anyone that can run at least DDR1200 4*1GB on this QuadGT?

Uguru on the Pro board is accurate for vcore too!...it might oscillate but measuring it off the board, i found the peak vcore was spot on with actual DMM reading!
Yep it's probably the most accurate i've seen out the box. Only time i've been closer was wheen i ran mbm on my old dfi neo4 using mbm & that was only cos i'd calibrated it myself

Anyone that can run at least DDR1200 4*1GB on this QuadGT?
struggling till 1:1.25 strap get fixed.

TT Toughpower 1200 runs no probs.

why can't i connect to your link...it just times out and says the page can't be displayed.
Don't know m8 works fine here just a post in the main thread in my sig.

Yep it wil, main issue is when you try to open 2 instances.

Its not that your unit may not have enough power, its a timing thing I reckon:

    http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/sho...php?t=17798624

I know your problem isn't exactly the same, but what I am trying to illustrate is the crucial timings that components demand from the PSU.

Clunk also has had problems with PSU (Galaxy 1KW unit) and an X38 chipset mobo...

I got it to work finally.

    3DM06

I didn't change anything in ATI CCC or in 3DM (should I of?).

This is just 1 run and not an average. Will run 3 in a row in a min (is that best?).

I will try xFire in a bit when I have everything I need to set, set properly. I need your help for that though.
Do I change anything in CCC?

    I agree...but perhaps his has a subtle fault ?

And how on earth do you get a worse beta bios...FFS Abit sort it out !!

Finally, my uGugu crashes and hangs almost every time I use it I am using CPUz 1.42

I have gotten so frustrated with it I have stopped in popping up at start up and won't use it.

The S12II didn't help, tonight I'll pull some different memory & try that. If that fails I guess it's off to Fry's to buy yet another PSU. I just bought the ToughPower after people thought my 680i/Q6600 issues might be PSU related.

I'm quickly remembering why I gave this hobby up for a few years. Blasphemy I know, but I kind of miss the Dell and it just working all the time.

Well that's how it was for me, may be different for someone else. It's the 1st time i've had bios values changing . Others have been reporting that using earlier bios versions, so you can't certain of these things.

Glowball is just having the same issues as you with an Enermax & 8800

Yep but it wasn't fast when it ran was it

I will try as soon as I have time and the board at hand. My D9GMH can run 1200 on an evga 680i so we'll see...
Got 1110 running with the Ballistix but not much more - memtest just froze. But I guess that was a problem of using a very high memory divider - one that enabled 800 strap actually since the CPU was still on 333
Besides I only fed it 1,4V MCH. I do think this board's got potential (otherwise I wouldn't order one for myself now would I )

easily, tweaking for 1 thing e.g. stability can have an effect on another e.g. performance.
    & it's a beta so you don't expect perfection

    or stop using CPU-Z
Just use 1 or the other not both at once.

    Can you OC like DDR1200?
the 1:1.25 strap on available bios is unstable, so there is little scope at the moment for hitting 1200. 1100~1150 is doable using 1:1.20 strap.
