Can someone clear something up for me? why is it that everyone's FSBT seems to be drastically different?
Some people can leave it at 1.30v at 400 FSB, where-as some people claim that anything from 1.34-1.40v is recommended for 400 FSB and above.
Is there a definite value here that we can all stick with?

My FSBT is 1.6 with 477 x 9 but I have not tested any lower. when getting the CPU stable I slowly increased all voltages simultaniously. I will try to lower them later.

My FSBT is set to 1.55 real (1.52 in BIOS I think) for 450*9. As far as 0903, I haven't had any issues except the 266 strap with 4x1GB sticks of DDR2 1066. It still doesn't boot for me.

I will try tuning FSBT later I think for quad core it may be higher than your 1.52 bios setting. I will move mine down step by step and see what attains Prime and OCCT stable results.

Any more thoughts on CPU PLL like I say mine is at 1.72 but I have not tuned.

    No go on the RAID.

I had the OS installed on a single hdd in IDE mode and I wanted to simply add a RAID 0 array. I tried everythng and nothing works. Now I can't even get back into my OS no matter what setting I put. Looks like I have to start over. At least I flashed to 0903 before.

Does anyone know how to do this? The hdd's are in my sig. I want the OS on the single 150gb Raptor and I want to Make the 2x cuda's into a RAID 0.

It seems I can only do one or the other. If I do RAID, my WD drive is not available to install windows on and if I do IDE mode and install on my WD then I cannot create a RAID.

Could someone explain to me what I need to do in the bios to make this happen?

    Please help!!!

Why you do´nt like to install OS to RAID? Raptor is not that much faster.
I had all HDD´s as install options, can´t say what is wrong with your setup.
    Is IDE settings like this:
    Configure S-ATA as RAID?
And does CTRL+I show that Raptor also?
Did you try other ports for that Raptor?

I think I just did everything in the wrong order. I read that is you install the OS in IDE mode then you switch to RAID/AHCI you need to edit the registry or you get bsod, which I did (bsod that is, I did not edit the registry). I think I need to enable RAID (and yes, I do see the single Raptor in there) create a RAID with the other 2 drives and install the OS on the Raptor. Shoud work, right?

The only reason I'm not doing a RAID for the Raptor is because I can't afford a second one right now.

Hope this works. With any luck I'll be OCing tonight.

Hi, I would have thought so as the os wouldn't care what HD it install to, just make sure the one you want it on is plugged into Sata 1...

What about the Boot Settings priority in the Bios? Surely the Raptor needs to be set to 1. Then the RAID0 drives to 2.

Got that. Boot setting were fine. I think the mistake was installing the OS in IDE mode and thinking I could switch SATA modes on the fly and just add a RAID.

Please actually read the thread, or at least search it? I've posted it several times, check around page 148/149, it's there somewhere!

I think it's time for a new thread... something cleaner with all info at the start?

Any voliteers? I know I'd probably ask a few less questions. I do my best to read through the thread and not spam, but almost 5000 POSTS IS A LOT TO READ!

Yep, that was it. You need to set the BIOS to RAID to begin with. I'd recommend disconnecting the the RAID drives for the OS install just to make things simple. Then you can set up the array with CTRL-I and format, etc. in Windows.

Odd, that ASUS Update says I dont have an ASUS board installed lol

The current version (7.1) says that the 505 is incompatible with my board as well.

    Bummer guess Im stuck.

SO the drives don't need to be plugged in for the install, right? I just have to make sure RAID mode is enabled in bios when I install the single drive OS.
