lol... like we didn't expect that

btw DFI is applying a real $ to € conversion

in the US it is >300 bucks while in Euroland we can get it for ~215 €
though I wonder if these will remain the final prices

X38 and P35 perform very similar. I personally would only buy the X38 if I needed Crossfire.

I really wish the performance status of Nvidia compared to ATI was switched. Very few people would ever buy anything else than an X38 with 8800GTs in SLI. Oh I wish ATI was king of the hill.

I just got a 39.00 refund from motherboardpro last night via e-mail, as they have lowered the price by that amount. How cool is that!

I will tell you what JimmyZ said to me and it makes allot of sense if you think about it..... They more than likely are waiting on the Heat Pipe assemblies to come in.

I didn't know that they designed a complete new heatpipe assembly. I just thought they will use the same as on the P35.

Edit: I just got information that the DFI X38 UT is EOL before it has ever been announed???
    True or not??

Just pulled the trigger on this board. I was gonna try and hold out on a ddr3 version but don't really have the patience or funds for that. Also glad this board doesn't have the heat pipes, it'll be much easier for a future water cooling setup.

i had mine ordered since the moment they allowed pre-order

anyway just received this email from them

We wanted to inform you that, once again, DFI has notified us that the ETA for the DFI LanParty LT X38-T2R board has changed. The new ETA is Monday, Dec.1. But as a token of our apologies, we are offering a free DFI PC Trasnpo carrying case. Please let us know if you do not wish to wait. We apologize for this situation. If there are any other changes, we will notify you immediately.
    Thank you for your understanding.
