Just ordered one I wish I could pick it up locally. I don't have a Dual PCI-E Slot board so that's why I bought only one.

You mean Crossfire board i suppose?
Seems we made our greatest error when we named it at the start
for though we called it "Human Nature" - it was cancer of the heart

My bad, yes, I did mean CF but since I will purchase a non-ATI board, I should have just said Dual PCI-E slots Either X-35 or better. I don't care for nVidia or ATI boards BTW I think I'll edit!

I was heading towards nVidia's 8800GT, but this looks better from my point of view. I don't care about the extra FPS since I own a LCD (60 FPS limited), luckily is '19 so I don't need to go with crossfire (like the guys with "24 should).

try crysis on 1280x1024 settings on high and some AA. se if you get constant 60 fps... xD. But if you only play cs and wow on the other hand...

3870 can do more than cs and wow - if my X1950 does then it certainly can. Last I checked the 8800GT doesn't get constant 60fps with those settings either anyway.

If it were the same price barely more expensive, I'd have gotten an 8800GT. I'm kind of kicking myself for not getting the XFX 8800GT for $239 when I had the chance. 1600 X 1050 on my 22" WS is the reason I had to upgrade.

I cancelled my order already, cold feet. I jumped on the MSI 8800GT deal at Dell. If i can score a couple of G92 GTS on launch then ill cancel that one also. Seems like ive got plenty of time to make up my mind but considering it takes me just 2 seconds to change it, im in for a long haul.

I already gave Dell two shots. They said they had 8800GT when they didn't and then 3870 for $223 free shipping and didn't. I hope they really have your's and are not BS-ing I wished I had listened to my Bud Sparks at[H] and gotten the 8800GT for less than $20 more than what I paid for this Card.
I only had this money from a bad Sound Card swap plus Cash deal. I needed a Video Card More than a Sound Card, sorry X-Fi Prelude7.1

My card shipped from BB's MauMee warehouse at 2:40PM today.

Total and utterly agree. Why do people buy from them, I really don't get it there so expensive on a lot of things.

Saying that, I got my E2140 and IX38 from there (only place that sold them, that I could find anyway)

Bah, why can't UK shops ship to other EU countries? Good price and actually available... The local retailers here won't have any HD 3870's in stock till _late January_.

Ok, I meant _good_ UK shops. Anyways, they don't have any stock and their prices aren't appealing either.
