    AFAIK DIMM's with D9 chips = only 1GB sticks.

Riverna, I see you got problems running 4 sticks at desired timings and frequency.
Running 4 sticks isn't same thing as running 2. You might need to bump vdimm and/or loosen timings a little bit.

And/or also raise MCH and FSB voltages a little...

    i thought 1.8v default, so '+.3 = 2.1', '+.4=2.2' etc.

are u using a dmm or something for those numbers? this ocz flex rated at 2.35 so 2.4 doesn't scare me. some patriot 800's i had in the past were rated at 2.2 and their tech support said 2.4 was fine but not over that, so 2.4 on these flex should be nothin' but we'll see.

After 3 sets of dead ram I'd start to look at other things besides the motherboard such as the PSU. I'm not saying it isn't the mobo, but it is possible that ripple from the PSU is killing your Dimms.

Anyone experince Linux ACPI problems with the P35-DQ6?
With F7b BIOs, when the latest (2.6.23.8) Linux Kernel tries to detect my CPU, all 4 APIC (Yes, different from ACPI) to my 4 cores fail.

Anyone using Linux on this motherboard? If so, what BIOs?

    Gigabyte P35-DQ6 owners:
F7d beta BIOs available at http://station-drivers.com/page/gigabyte/ga-p35-dq6.htm.

There is a lot of talk about bad experiances with 1GBx4 on these boards. I thought I'd offer a positive exeperiance. I've been running 4 Crucial PC2-6400 DIMMS for almost two months now. With only +0.2 in the BIOS, I was stable with either DDR2-800 4-4-4-12 or DDR2-1000 5-5-5-15. Right now I am running DDR2-900 4-4-4-12 with only +0.25V BIOS setting. Not sure why everyone else is have so many problems, good luck getting things worked out.

    DS4 Rev.2.0 f8b

On the other hand, I have not been successful getting my board stable at anything over 450MHz FSB with my Q6600 G0.

after 3 p35c boards all the same volts n some are even worse
and latest bios increased my +3 by 0.02v
i mesured vdimm on every board i had to see if everest readings were correct
so do you know if your board is overvolting? i'd put money that it is
in some cases even going from +3 to +4 no increase
i wont even use +4 unless i will do some benching
and optimised default with f7 bios was 2.38v
these +1 adjustments i think is ridiculous
