Yea, I wasn't going to mention that because it's still showing on price watch.
However, NCIXUS has stock of 3870's as well and cheaper!

There are plenty of 3850's in stock at the egg and it has pretty much been that way since release. No such luck with the 3870s, indeed there seem to have been a lot fewer shipments of those than 8800GTs which have been coming in and selling out on a regular basis.
You can find out how much of something the 'egg has in stock if there is no limit on the orders you can place on the item. You just add the item to your cart, put in 100 for the quantity (that is generally the max order quantity) and then just hit the update quantity button. If it is under 100 it will update the number to how many they have left in stock. If there are over 100 in stock it will leave it at 100. If there is a limit on how many you can order it will just give you that limit (assuming that the limit is less than how many are left in stock).
Here is an example:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814131071
I'm showing 31 left at the moment.
anyone got anything besides the card from newegg?
the game included is that just an ncix thing?
Ordered HIS 3850, should be here next week.
One down, two more slots to fill...
damn they are $269 now at newegg.
must have increased the price since they are popular. well that sucks i was gonna buy one, now im not, the 8800gt looks better at this price level

i cant believe these prices, 269????? for a 3870 are you kidding me, thats crazy, and people who buy them at that price are a buncha idiots.........they are the reason why price gauging exists..........this is garbage.......i would wait intill prices drop when the 8800GT 256 and GTS come out.....then these things should be selling for 199 and no more.

Bugatti Veyron costs more than a million £ to make and they sell it at £875,000. So they are actually selling at bargain price and any person buying that car is in no way an idiot for doing it.
Anyway i bought 3870 at higher price because i been waiting a year to upgrade my PC with a DX10 graphics card. Even with the prices being higher then what they should be the card was still £30 cheaper then 8800GT which comes with crappy drivers but with bit better performance. Price gauged or not i wanted that card because i got to play Gears Of War, Crysis, Assisin's Creed, Bioshock etc.
