    Thanks, will take a look when I open it and yes, it was from scan.

    Here's their comparison with the non SE (they don't seem to have the non 'V2' SE any more). Only difference is that it loses the 4 pin motherboard power connector.

    ASUS Maximus Formula SE V2 (REV 1.02G)

    There you go. It's revision 1.02G. The VRM heatsink has an ASUS logo. Which is exactly the same as the one reviewed by clunk. I was under the impression that it should have R.O.G on the heatsink and a different revision i.e. 2.0x being a V2. Do you think they've sent the wrong board?

    Hi, not in the pictures it doesn't, it shows the non se as having 4 pins, and the se as having eight, which contradicts the specs...

    True, it has an eight with a plug to allow it to run as a 4 pin.

    The picture of the V2 shows it as having an R.O.G heatsink on the VRMs. The board they have sent has an ASUS heatsink. And the same revision numbers as the one on clunks review.

    Hi, so what you are saying it would seem that the motherboard is no different from ours Looks like scan are running a scam

    It seems moer people are using 0802.

    Any new results from 0901, im going to be using the 400 strap on the 3:4 divider.
