Well, i got a board with the warped socket in the days and unlike DFI support in the US they told me they wouldn't take care of the shipping cost, after i mailed them back telling them (in a very polite way) that i didn't understand why it should cost me anything when it was a 100% DFI mistake, they just ignored me. You can't possibly do worst in my opinion unless you insult your customer of course.

Hmmm I look after all such matters and I do not recall such a case. Which board was it? That said I do recall a discussion a few months ago with someone regarding shipping costs. If you require further clarification on the matter you can PM me or email me at support at dfi-europe dot com.

Thank you for your offer, it's very possible you weren't in charge back then (board was NF2 Infinity, so more years than months) maybe you would have handled the matter in a better way (which DFI USA did in that case). At least dialog seems to have improved so keep up, i may change my mind and buy one of your mobos in the future if i can find one for a decent price which is not easy in France.

NF2 Infinity was indeed just before my time. I signed on with DFI from about NF3 onwards.
