    Removed hotfix again; booting into Windows since applying the hotfix took about 1m39s, now its back at its usual ~12s

    (Vista Enterprise Ed. here)

    I removed this hotfix as well as... I've had a lot of BSODs(under vista x64) while gaming with this installed. removing it has fixed it.

    One can hope, i suspect SP1 just just a bunch of patches into one 500MB file download.

    lol old topic i was curious till i checked the date. Ive been using this hotfix for a long time, works fine. No bsod, cant say i noticed much of a diffrence though

    After install the patch

    the memory usage droped from 1.2G to 1.04G

    thats pretty high usage! Mine peaks out at that sometimes, but ive managed to get all services down, 33 process. only 710MB usage usually

    weird, although my memory useage is 950mb i'm happy. i think the most ive seen used is oblivion with 2.5gb
