I would probably expect to get maybe 19-21k if i had an x38. Getting 18k right now with the cards at 860 core/2550 mem. I still want to play around with adjusting PCI-E frequency to see if it improves.

But yeah, other than the second 4x slot slowing it down a bit atm it worked without a hitch. PCI-e spacing was more than adequate (obviously). The only thing i had to do was change the PCIE Config option in bios from '1X 1X' to '4X NC' (effectively taking the 4 lanes from SB that are spread out by default across the board and giving them all to the middle PCI-E slot)

@John.......Hey can you do me a favor and confirm if you can get a Parallel PCI Card to work in the P35 for the Bios programmer?

Maybe I should ask do you have a Parallel PCI Card first?

I just bought this Lava Link Parallel PCI Card and no matter what I try Windows will not see the damn thing end of story! Even tried reformatting and still no go!
The Odd thing is that the EVGA 680i sees the card just fine in Windows but not the DFI

I just noticed too that the Bios Programmer says specifically in Bios Parallel Port needs to be set @ ECP or ECP/EPP and this card is only EPP
