Heh, everything is "already available" in Taiwan. This is why all the Taiwanese hardware sites have their reviews done a few months ahead of the North American sites.

so, i know its been asked, but am I correct in believing charts posted that say 2008 for the lower end quads? I knew november was the date for the qx9650, but i halfway expected them to put out atleast the high end dual core e8500 before the holiday season. Seems to me like that would be smart because they would make alot of money and then enthusiasts would quickly replace it with a quad a few months later.

The big question is how do the box units overclock compared to those nice ES samples that we saw do do well.

According to xfastest.com forums, one person is using a Q9450 in an Asus Commando motherboard. The BIOS is missing the microcode, but it works.

edit: The OEM's are shipping now.
