Got the beast completely wound up now...4050mhz Validated http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=265465

    Broke 20K in 3D06 too..

It might not be pretty but it kicks ass.

RE the large fan: no it is dead silent.

The PC Power 1 KW really amps up under load...and the HD 2900XTs really get loud too when under load.

    Madness...

THe fan is from an Antec 900, I have masses of them around as I mod them..

RE cooling the cards...yes that is in the works.

I have a few other PSUs to choose from but the 1 KW is such a beast

The whole rig is ridiculous overkill...silence is not really a factor

From what I have seen of the 2900XT's, your going to smash the 20k as they overclock like demons ... especially when liquid cooled
thats a very nice clock on the quad ... what voltage was that running ?

kind of ashamed it isn't cleaner, but this case is impossible to hide anything related to watercooling.

I don't doubt that its good workmanship but it just looks like you've taken an already tacky case and given it a dusting of pc world/asus vento appeal and wound up with something rather unpleasant.

The yamaha one is much better.
