    COD4 uses 600+MB VRAM @ 1680x1050 on a 512MB VRAM card

    http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o.../Shot00441.jpg

this was @ all max 1680x1050 4xAA 8xAF on a 8800GT 512MB. was getting ~620MB on the 2nd level where i rope down the hill(near the powerline) and after that it creeps toward 650MB ....... and my GT's 512MB VRAM was able handle it without any slowdown/dropped frame due to the need to fill VRAM ...

hmmm which made me to believe that its ok to go like 100 maybe even 150 MB over ur VRAM's capacity as long as u have enough bandwidth....

512 was able to handle it, but GTS 320?? might be pushing it, i mean ur talking about twice as much VRAM usage as the GFX card's limit. what do u guys think??

    here r some SS:

Click the icon that looks like a magnifying glass on top of an IC. It's in the low-level menu. There is a plugin you will need to use within the monitoring thing, click the setup button and browse the descriptions until you find it.

The only thing that looks like a magnifying glass is "hardware monitoring". Is it in the "Power user" tab?

Open hardware monitoring, then select setup and then plug ins and enable VidMem.dll.

Now you have to choose it and make it show in OSD by selecting setup at the previous window(hardware monitoring setup).

That looks interesting! I think I will do that to see how much video memory Armed Assault takes up.

Does that extension have ATI compatibility?
