Hadn’t realised how far behind I was on this build till I started first thing yesterday morning and by around tea time I was ready to throw the towel in as I really didn’t think it would be finished in time but after checking the CM site it looks like the dead line is November 1st 11:59pm…………..must have got my days mixed up or something

Anyway due to working against the clock I didn’t really get a chance to keep much of a log but here’s the end result of today’s work

Got all the water in and got the hard drive caddy’s painted which turned out giving a great contrast against the red so well pleased with the overall progress, oh and I did manage to sort the front input panel out after it was mentioned a couple of times so cut a new one from aluminium and polished it, also painted the mic/headphone inputs so thanks for pointing out the error of my ways.

Anyway thanks to everyone for the input and encouragement and who followed yet another journey plus a big thanks to those who voted for the Bit MOTM and basically just a BIG THANKS to everyone.

I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves and be warned there are plenty of them……..

B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L man, damn good work. Wish I had the time and mad skilz as you

I'd have to say this is the ugly duckling of cases, in my opinion you took a "not so pretty" case and transformed it into a work of art, congrats on another well done mod

    Excellent work!
I see Bit-Tech's mod of the year
"To exist in this vast universe for a speck of time is the great gift of life. Our tiny sliver of time is our gift of life. It is our only life. The universe will go on, indifferent to our brief existence, but while we are here we touch not just part of that vastness, but also the lives around us. Life is the gift each of us has been given. Each life is our own and no one else's. It is precious beyond all counting. It is the greatest value we have. Cherish it for what it truly is."

Thats top quility mate! Cant fault it. I seriously like the top console bit on the pc. I'd say every bit of it is spot on especially the side panels.

Unfortunately, I always have to end up being the resident a$$hole, but I have to state my honest opinion and not fabricate something just to be polite.

That is stunning work. I applaud your skills.

I like the Cosmos case very much. Unfortunately, as much as I am in awe of your craftsmanship, I would have to admit that I like the stock Cosmos case a lot more.

    And I like your SLK55.

Lest anyone not understand, a SLK should not be confused with a SLR. Just a matter of one alphabet... and its quite a difference.

hey, Coolmeister, can I just ship you my Stacker, I will foot the bill for shipping..........I mean seriously, you can run with it, from where i have it now, and I just ask that you leave the chassis white, other then that she is all yours to do with as you wish, and I will pay return shipping .

What would you do if you could?

    That's not a SLK55.

It would have AMG on the Calipers and on the side fender, I'm going to say that it's either the SLK200 or SLK350. In any event it's definitely not an AMG.

I'm feeling more for the SLK350(2007?).

    Loonym...You are missed.

    The element of one

    Breathe me in
    Breathe me in

I disbelieve in separation. I close my eyes to see you.
This is for you, everything I am. This is for you, take it from me.
I, I disbelieve separation. I close my eyes
    there's no escaping me
This is for you, everything I am. This is for you, take it from me.
In your heart in your soul. I perceive rejuvenation

Breathe me in. I am forever. Deep within I am eternal.

I will return to you. I am with you always. I will never turn away from you.

Good for him, and he definitely has an incredible level of skill. I am uncomfortable with the case, but its not my place to comment.

Most definitely, the modifications done to the case certainly do showcase precision and a great deal of skill.

Its a limited edition 200 with a Kleeman K-Box and light weight pulleys and i love it but if we ever need anything bigger we always got my brothers CL55 to play with but seriously this thread is not about the cars as they are both great fun, its about the case - plus i didn't have an SLR parked on my drive at the time

    Cheers for the feedback though
