Has anyone tested the QX6950 on some older 965 boards like the DS3. I know officially they're not supported, but I'd bet they'd work.

I'd love to be able to just drop a 45nm quad in my trusty old DS3.

ROFL eva2000 ! ... Damn these yorkies are driving me crazy ! And I like that ... Wow, 5.6GHz with the UNmoded DFI mobo is wild ... Although I never had the chance to play with a DFI, neither on Socket 775 nor on AM2/939

@Pt1t: What's the all in all impression that the Biostar mobo left you ? Cause this great innovation with the absence of coldboot has taken me aback !

I would have liked to be a fly on the wall to see that one:
Bill: "But George, I have to return it"
George:"Let me say it this way: Do you ever want to have children?"

Wow, Intel taking back its ES chips. No wonder I haven't been seeing them in the for sale forum.

Hey, anyone have a formula for the wattage on these quads when overclocked?

well done Pt1t, I am also pleased somebody tests more boards at a time.
what about the coldbug? 105° sub seems hard to me, did anything change with lower volts, let's say 1.8V?
