Yes its a known issue but usually happens with in the 1st minute of having both programs open. It's only with cpuz 1.41....older versions are ok. You can edit the config file for v1.41 to stop the problem...see 1st link.

If you didn't have them both open at the same time I'd be looking at memory voltage or vMCH maybe. Hard to say. Run memtest86+ test#5 and see if it errors.
