Here is the SSC bios. Standard voltage of 1.05 seems to be used in the bios.
Edit: I have attached a picture of the card. Idle temps are 27-28C, loaded are 29-30C at 800mhz.

i did a comparison on the bios
everything the same with the timings etc
except for the clocks with the XFX 8800gt Alpha Dogs
another note is the bios version
the XFX 8800gt is 62.19.12.00.80
while ure SSC's is 62.19.12.00.26
VETDRMS
u did that on what board again??
cause hmm i still can clock higher on a 680 mobo than my maximus
but 3dmark shows both are the same...
hmm this is the sumup of my 8800 experience
started with 8800gtx slied
when gaming with those puppies it was like if i cant game everybody else was screwed
then went to 8800 ultra slied
again the same as above
gave up on sli with the 680 mobos being so buggy
and sold off the ultras before the price dropped
tried evga 8800gts 640mb... they were pretty decent but cant clock much with the OVP or i just had a bad batch... could play anything at 1920x1200 at mid
then tried to get some XFX 8800gts 320mb A3 revision and clocked it like mad and was running 702/1728/2106 24/7 but the 320mb was a limitation
THIS card 8800gt ... well u always doubt the card's performance
but so far till now at 700/1750/2000 gaming on DX9.. its just making me smile everyday...
This card is just that good and doesnt heat up my room..... First time THUMBS up NVIDIA...

Unless I'm mistaken there are three versions of the 8800GT XFX Alpha Dog Edition.
1. PV-T88P-YDF4 - 600 MHz GPU Clock, 1.8 GHz Memory
2. PV-T88P-YDE4 - 640 MHz GPU Clock, 1.9 GHz Memory
3. PV-T88P-YDD4 - 670 MHz GPU Clock, 1.95 GHz Memory
So which Alpha Dog did you overclock to 716 MHz GPU Clock, 1022 MHz (2.044 GHz) Memory & 1790 MHz Shader? Is it staple at this overclock?

Cool, tried upping core clock even further yet?
BTW, here's some nice lists I thought were nicely done by a person on another forum testing it out himself with his 8800GT (seems G92 doesn't follow the exact same "steps" as G80, check here for a reference) that could be useful at least to some (like me that is new to GF8 overclocking and didn't even know they clocked in "steps"), the manually specified clocks to the left and to right the actual clock it ends up as (applies to at least RivaTuner and Expertool, not sure about others).

If all people would share opinions in an objective manner, the world would be a friendlier place
It seems the shaders can now be pushed further. It still follows the same 54Mhz increments though.

ROP clocks are verified in RivaTuner at 799.xx mhz, unlinked with shaders.
Evga 8800GT SSC. It makes it to the firefly test before hard-lock at 820mhz.
Shader clocks do not have much headroom. Crashes in 3Dmark above 1836.
Waiting for 500ohm VRs...
Edit: This card "sings" like the 8800GTX under load, kind of funny and very noticeable in 3DMark03 Nature Loop. I am curious as to how robust the power circuit is, I think the over voltage protection is not going to be very friendly.

So... I decided to throw the old universal mount on the waterblock today.
Great results so far. I will test above this after I post

anything over 800 core had errors.
Shader over 206 had errors.
Memory at 1045 had errors.
I think what nvidia did was underclock/under power this card so it didn't beat the gtx.
If the memory is 2ghz and it's underclocked to 1.8ghz and has a hard time overclocked past 2045, then it has to be undervolted.
All the memory and chips have thermaltake copper ramsinks

HOLY SH/T!
btw what was your best stock cooler result?
not high 725 or so.
1840 shader I think
It had serious problems with ati tools. Aftermarket cooling is what is needed to get the card stable

sweet. for some reason the stock hold down plate never came with my mcw60r just the G80 plate. I had to order the stock one from swiftech. I'll post my stock cooler results later tonight.
