    Arrow First HT3 Phenom mobo from NVIDIA (nF 780a)

    I love layout! it's excellent. I hope that all mobo manufacturers will use this design for sAM2+ mobos based on nV's HT3 chipsets like 780a:

    Adobe is working on Flash Player support for 64-bit platforms as part of our ongoing commitment to the cross-platform compatibility of Flash Player. We expect to provide native support for 64-bit platforms in an upcoming release of Flash Player following the release of Flash Player 10.1.

    Its funny cause Nvidia makes some GREAT AMD boards, in fact, probably far better than Intel boards. Great layout, and my god, no need for huge cooling besides one fan. Might be a cool running Nvidia board for once...

    odd layout for the e-sata, I guess it would vary on case, the CM-690 can use that top most slot since the e-sata slot is on the top of the case, but again, curious layout...

    looks like it would be pretty easy to insulate for subzero due to plenty of space with little obstacles... lets just pray that phenom doesnt have coldbug....

    Still a bodged solution for PCI-E 2.0.

    Come on nVidia...get a move on with the integration!

    Wheres the CPU plug?

    Those S-ATA ports are a bit random

    Do we still need those serial ports in the I/O? relegate them to a PCI backplate, if not removed totally...its the end of 2007!

    PCI-E power: Up to 450W (37.5A on the 12V rail) will be drawn through the PCI-E slots themselves....is ALL of that coming from the ATX plug- I dont see any additional power plugs.

    the layout isnt without issues, but I like it
    what I hate, if it's right, that the small heatsink indicates the same bridge chip as the Intel 780i mobo has

    Is that a D-sub and a DVI connector on the backplate?
    Is this then really the 780a?

    Also, with nvidia's tradition, that chipset-cooler will be too hot and too loud.

    That's just in case you fry your tri-sli setup, you can still run your monitor. Definately seems like a strange setup in many respects. Maybe an early prototype.

    They are rubycons, you won't have to worry about those going bad on you.

    It looks OK but they still have the NB at the end of the PCIe slots with a whiny little fan Geez, put the ram slots to the right of the CPU socket like normal and then put the chipset between the CPU and the top PCIe x16 slot. My board is like that and it works great.

    I like their AMD 7xx chipset based board better. Yes has heatpipes but I don't mind them any.
