Man, it is the main reason that I stayed with them and will most DEFINATELY miss it!!!! I almost shed a tear last Friday when I had to remove my uGuru panel from the front of my case. I had it all modded up to match my silver Lian-Li case, there is nothing like having a hardware monitor running, without using up a single resource.

    RIP uGuru.

It's one reason I probably should have gotten the Abit IP35 Pro (plus a savings of $100 lol)... but, maybe I'll go with the Abit QuadGT X38 when it comes out... I loved my old 965 quadgt... it was a monster FWIW.

Why did you get rid of yours, though? I've heard good things... I went with DFI b/c maybe someday when I have the time, I'll go nuts on DRAM timings...

well just to mention, that 965 quadgt i was bragging about i used for maybe 3 months, handed it down to my bro maybe 6-8 weeks ago, and it died last week. his rig wasn't OCed or anything. he was using the machine, it froze doing one of those repeated audio cycles, and never booted again. replaced it with abit cross-ship

I think my Abit IP35 Pro & I will be friends for a long time its a simple dependable little sod that you just take for granted bit like my DFI 975X/G. I bet it too will gracefully slip into retirement & inevitably end up playing Bob the builder & the Muppet's for my kids LOL.

I also rate this DFI P35 pretty highly too its not put a foot wrong for me & it runs everything I have flatout, cant ask for much more can you.

It's like a mass migration from the Abit to this board! I came to DFI land because the Abit crackled w/ my X-Fi in some games, the layout works better for my case, bios options, better stability for higher oc's, and all the little things like screws instead of pins for nb/pwm cooling. And I'm def happier gaming and occasionally benching/ocing.

So...are there any beta BIOS' worth checking out? I'm on 8/10, and i CONSTANTLY get that C1 error on reboot. Takes me about 5 minutes to reset the BIOS, then bam, 10 minutes later right back there again.

I'm trying to set up a USB Flash drive...it would be VERY helpful if somebody just .zips up their flash drive contents with a quick guide on what to change (autoexec.bat) when flashing a different BIOS than one included.

EDIT: This is so confusing. Nothing works right...Somebody PLEASE help with a USB flash drive that I can boot from.

I still can't believe with all the money spent on hardware people still refuse to spend $4.00 for a floppy drive. As with any other endeavor a person shouldn't take on the job without the necessary tools.

Enough of the rant. I'm sure I've already posted a link in this thread once on how to set up a flash drive for BIOS flashing.

LOL. Those are the same people scratching there heads trying to figure out how they're going to flash the BIOS or load RAID drivers.
