I agree, that monitor looks way bigger than 24".

But if OBR said he played it on a 24" and it ran well on a 8800GTX i believe him.

I don't, because then I would install a whole new operating system to play a single player game, because I have been really looking forward to it.

I live right around Georgia Tech.

I have been counting the days for the demo to be released.
Everyday when I head a paper, I count the days until Crysis single player demo is released.

I have also been counting the days for Need for Speed: Pro Street, which I just played the Xbox 360 demo, and it isn't the magic game I was hoping the NFS series would become.

Surely this is the game to do, right?! Anybody know the time for early release for Crysis demo? Someone's gotta get the torrent ball on that @ release!

I think he meant he hoped that the SP demo was on DX10 as well as DX9, not DX10 exclusively. At least that's what I'm hoping for.

You are correct, I don't want the fun spoiled for the XP people, I just want to see the Dx10 features before I go out and buy the game.

    Amen!
Hopefully this game will be TRUE DX10, putting the DX10 API to the test.

    Ah, I see.
But Vista would get one more sucker if EA did.

EA moved the single player demo back, like a month ago, and it is confirmed to be October 26th, 2007, unless the move it back again.
    In which I will...

I don't see the demo "leaked" anywhere.

    The single player demo?

Is TF2 in comparison with Crysis?

Yeah, the FAKE midget pron torrent of the single player demo that is. Team Fortress 2's probably the complete opposite of the ass kicking single player campaign that will be Crysis. But it's the only thing that'll keep my mind off "the demo." It's madly wild good times to be had!

After having Gone to a community college and then transferring to a 4 year college.... I can verify that I learned more in a community college. Which is REALLY sad because the cost difference is GINORMOUS.

I think it's mostly because of the small classes and more one on one interaction with the professors. It's usually 25-50 people in a class at a community college vs. 300-500 people in a big hall at my current Uni. Everything is do it yourself fast paced crap...

Pretty sad if you ask me. I got better education for $200 then I'm getting at $5000.

    Sorry about going off topic.

    ON TOPIC:

Is the MP beta a good indicator of how the game will run? I've got a 7900GTX and i have to drop down to 1280x800 low settings to get decent Fps.... MP Beta looking like crap at that rez and settings.

that is a 24 in. Its the camera making it look smaller.

cant wait for the demo, thats good news on the SP running decent on that hardware. now lets hope the MP isnt as awfull as farcry was at first. Ive been playing the beta, its fun n all but needs some work.

and yes Community college is the wise thing to do! i only did 2 years myself, ive been thinking of going to UNR one of these days to finish, been a few years though since i sat down and tried to study:P

    yeah it is

    more specifically, it's a 32" XBR2 i believe

that tv cannot do 1080p, it's native res is somewhere around 1366x768

more than likely, that crysis demo is being ran at 1280x720
