    how much volts would you guys put on this kit for 24/7, assuming it's actively cooled (OCZ mem cooler here)? thnx

    The same as has always been safe with Micron D9 chips. 2.2v 24/7, you'll risk killing them faster with 2.3-2.4 over long periods of time.

    damn, that's too low mine are getting 2.3V maximum now, I'll take my chances here.
    what about those 2GB sticks, what's their case, for Micron ICs?
    EDIT: what about those highly binned sticks that are rated to run at 2.35V like Corsair or OCZ, those are D9?

    Yes, the high end FleXLC and Dominator sticks from OCZ and Corsair use D9. Just because they rate them to 2.35-2.4v, does not mean they are any more tolerant to those voltages than the rest of the D9 sticks out there, they just mean that they are willing to warranty it for the few that buy them.

    I'd say about the same, but remember with the 2GB sticks, heat will become more of an issue than it is with 1GB sticks, so you'll want to pay more attention to keeping them cool.
