With those speeds I would expect to see Reads over 10000 and Latency in the mid-upper 40s.

He obviously hasnt tweaked subtimings that well or enabled the right performance options

    DDR2 900, this is 100% stable.

Thats Blend @ Priority 9, round off checking enabled.

Tweaked 900 is running damn near his 1205 and I will have some stuff up for 500x7 DDR2 1000 4-4-4-10 with tight subtimings... will pull 10k

So what does it say, does it say I should upgrade my aging P965 Gigabyte GA-965P-S3 mobo or get a better clocking CPU?

Seems to work for me too, P965 isn't that slow!

Edit: this is 100% orthos stable. Edit: there -> http://i24.tinypic.com/jpzddd.jpg

Sorry I don't understand this question?

@mjb1206; Indeed, but do You think it's worth it - for me - doing a P965 -> X38 upgrade. My current mobo is boring. and I want to get a new CPU @ a Q6600.

I was poking fun at the TRIAL VERSION stamped across a few of your readings since your using trial Everest

P965 -> X38 is a definate upgrade in terms of performance, but again visibly in real life application there really isnt a need for it
