One question: with this board, with C1E and EIST enabled, when you change the vcore to 1,50v for example, at idle, what does the processor do? Change multiplier+voltage, or only multiplier?

    Thx

My rams do 1142mhz @ 2.1v...prime blend stable, so it ain't the ram...even more towards it being the chipset/bios is the fact that two sticks work jsut fine(also giga board exhibiting same symptoms points in this direction as well...)

    You, too, Hornet...I realize you're runinng jsut 2 sticks...but...
Hi, did I not reply that I am running 4 x 1gb sticks at 1066 with default settings, does this help in anyway?

Cedar Mill 533MHz FSB works on this board as long as you don't touch any of the memorysettings (including dividers)

So it's quite funny to test a $30 Celeron together with a $250+ mobo

Not really. maybe if you could post what bios says it set timings to...need to know which ram you are runnig as well.

Errors here happen at same address regardless of what ram is installed. Tming adjustments make only minor difference..still errors, but get less errors...errors are lessened with an increase of chipset volts..haven't tried over 1.45 tho...I see 450 @ 1.7v here tho..so more playing to be done. haven't tried two sticks in other slots to see if it's the slots either...

Not tried memset or prime yet but 32M runs fine. Ballistix PC8500 and Cellshock PC8000c4. Just set vcore and vdimm (probably could do with less) and 5-5-5-15 rest = auto, just to see if it would run:

ok, just got the g.skill 4gb ddr1000 from newegg, and it booted up first try, stock settings at 1066, that seems to be the limit, but for 4gb's its a great kit

Nice GAR, can you reach 550Mhz? Latency doesn´t matter here. And also how they respond to voltage?

I havnt tried any higher but im sure it will do 550, most likely that will be the max for this kit, either way i like it very much, im happy for 200 bucks couldnt get better.....as far as voltage, doesnt respond well, 2-2.1 is where you want to stay. 2v is enough for this kit.
