The cleanness of that 900 is scary but it could do with abit of color , and I agree with CyberDruid, I bought one of those fans for my friends and it looks hot and that grill is just killing it.

I am planning to mod my 900 to a BTX form with the PSU still at the bottom and the mobo on the other side with the CPU at the bottom and GFX at the top. it just seems like a more logical design for a 900

i finished my side window mod

    and moving towards the front...
i got these parts that i've made and putting them layered... the aluminum plate will be painted glossy black like the rest of the case.

will look something like this... with the lighting to highlight the clear plexi... there will be space for the fans to breathe.

it should look something like this...

need your inputs as the upper portion will be a bit empty except for the HDD and power LEDS that i will be adding...

I'd want a side panel like the one above, but then my side fan wouldn't look right on it.

Wow what a different way to dress out a 900. That front panel is killer. I like the blank top.

Is it true that this case is loud and dusty? I'm so confused right now. I don't know whether to get it or not.

I guess I'm getting it. I'm trusting you guys on this loudness and dust factor. I'll be back with pictures and stuff after its all set.

I'm hoping it will fit an 8800gtx and a zalman 9700. I doubt it can hold two cards for SLI, am I wrong?

If you want change out the fans for something quiet and fit them with filters.

I think it's a great design and very solid in it's contruction. As you can see there are a few things that can be done with it too

    gok1025,
paint the interiors before you install everything in.

Right out of the box it is a dust magnet but it isn't loud. Well.... that is if you don't kick all the fans into high gear. the 200mm top fan is always silent, even on high. The hdd cage fans are very quiet on low and medium settings but they get loud on high. Not that you ever have to put them on high. I have them on low and they are already very effective.

My advice is to buy this case because it's extremely effective. But also, buy some filters to put in front of the fans.

you are indeed wrong, it has plenty of space, my video card is only about an inch shorter than a 8800 GTX. only thing that could get in the way is if you shove 5 or 6 HDDs into the cages.

my scythe ninja is only slightly smaller than a zalman 9700 so it should fit fine as long as nothing on your motherboard gets in the way
when some say "why mod?" i say "why not mod?"

some of the work and adaptation i've done to my antec
    -first the paint job
i really dont like the blue color so before the job it looked something like this:

    then, the paint job:

the painting is finished, my aim was a total black interior, i even resprayed the HyperTX in all black fashion

some pics with lights off and a 12V CM Red Neon under the table :

    lights on:

that's essentially it, i have liquid cooling in planing so this was the whole point of cleaning up the cables and making good air flow and all in nice red color

that looks really nice , I spent most of 2day Sanding , priming and painting my Case matt black ill post some pics later

I spent abit of time going though the planning of my BTX mod, I dont think it will be 100% possible as I have to cut the PSU mounts loose from the rear/mobo plates , so it will make the case all weak and it will destroy the entire case
