    p5k-e fsb wall ???

no matter what i try to get my asus p5k-e it just refuses 500fsb i thought it was a wall so i tried abit higher 508-510fsb ive turned up all the chipset voltages to flat out and even pumped more power through my e6750 up to 1.55v even though it stable 1.5v at 3.95ghz i know its not my ram topping out as i know my gskill Hz's wil ddr1200+ on 5-5-5-18 has anyone else had the same problem with this board ? ive tried newer beta bioses but the 0602 seems to be the best and most stable currently for me ive tried dropping the multiplier and no change at all notice my chipset was nb and mofosets where rather warm but getting them activily cooled

Ever ran this 6750 over 500fsb in another board? Could be max FSB cpu (with its current cooling).

On the sort of cooling you are using right now i meant. The colder the cpu gets the higher its max FSB wil be. Goin from air to phase for example wil gain you 30~50mhz.

Too bad you cannot try another board. You can run completely stable a few mhz under the cpu's max FSB but goin 1 mhz over it wil just freeze the system.
