    lets hope they can do ddr1100 atleast with some extra voltage, i heard these are using micron chips.

    when it gets in stock expect the price to go up dramatically... This is Newegg standard operating procedure...

    i dislike newegg now, once something is high in demand, they raise the prices to make a couple of extra bucks, dirty tactics.

    Hmm but someone from gskill ( I think! ) said price would be around $ 200 !

    2x2gb 550mhz 2v for $ 190 can´t be true...i want that

    Been availible for over a week now, and still holding on at $190.....I really wish I had waited another week before ordering my 4x1GB worth of Crucial Ballistix....

    Newegg isn't the only etailer that does that. Zipzoomfly, TigerDirect and NCIX all do the same thing. I know this because I used to be the account manager at EVGA for them....well except for Tiger.

    dose nvidia actually not drop prices on old high end chips or is that on the oem or the retailers end

    There's a lot of things that have to be factored in when it comes to pricing. I really can't go into detail because I still work for an AIC partner but for the most part old high end cards won't really drop any.

    A lot of people would be surprised at what some companies pay for old high end cards. There's a couple companies out there that would still willing pay around $380 for a 7800GTX. yes i said "$380"
