Thank you all for the compliments.

Some more file work to do.

This time I do not using the iron with the file job.

That aluminum from AC-Ryan is very good to handle.

    First part done.

    But enough to do.

    I like t.

At last the long small peace.

Sanding and polishing is for tomorrow.

    See you soon.

Today some sanding and polishing to do.
    Starting with dry sanding.

    And ready with dry sanding.

    Continue with wet sanding.

    Than polishing.

Almost ready, but it’s too late to continue. Tomorrow I must work early.

Here you can see the difference between the two parts.

    Here even better.

    But that’s for tomorrow.

    See you soon.

Finishing the polishing work at the back side, that’s for next week.
Today I start with the front. First thing is taking out the mesh part for a moment.. Sorry Lian Li.

    Drill a hole.

And then with the jig saw.

    Don’t look good.

    Take the file. (again)

It’s not 100% straight (right corner at the top)

    But that’s for later.

This is the beginning from the front there will come more plexi inside and some mesh. The color black will also disappear.

But that’s for next week this weekend I go to Zandvoort A1 GP.

Have a nice weekend all and see you next week.

    @Patriote, thanks.

@TRG, I hope I can beat the first one.

And continue with the front panel. It starts to looks boring. Again file work to do.

Between the file job. I have some time to drill.

    And file it again.

Only the sanding part to do.

There is also some plexi behind the holes from the buttons. Now you think maybe why?

These are really nice buttons. Because they have an edge on the bottom.

Now you can see the plexi. And the buttons are working well.

I put some light behind it to see the effect.

    See you soon.

    @cian1500ww, thanks

And continue with the front. Make a copy from the first part.

And that one will come here. On the case.

Marking the holes for sawing and drilling.

And the saw job is done.

    On the case.

    Still some work to do.

    This time complete by hand.

    That’s fit.

    Maybe I use this radgrill.

    See you soon.

Looks nice, but I think the radgrill without the heatkiller logo's will look even better will give it a cleaner/sleeker look.

Everything else looks great , this is going to be another eyecatcher, superb modding Ed

This morning I visit Point of View for a cup of coffee. No cookie at the coffee this time, but a nice suitcase.

Some people will remember it from the Carbon Li.
1100Watt straight power. I love this one. The cables are no problem I go for quality.

Only the Point of View edition this time.. Tagan make good powersuplys.. I think it’s a good decision from Point of View to cooperate with Tagan.

No mod update this time. I was too late at home.

    @illidan, thanks for the compliment.

And continue with the front. I make some plexi to mount the 2 reservoirs.

I need the edges from the original front. So I can place the reservoirs exactly in the center.

I use the standard mounting plates only for drawing.

    Dan saw the plexi.

    Filing and sanding.

    That’s fit well.

Almost the same as the plexi from the front. But this is to hide the plexi for a part.

    Again filing.

    Also the small holes.

The black anodized will be removed. And it will be polishing.

    See you soon.

But why does nobody ask about the DVD. There is no place at the front for that.

I guess that Deamon Tools and a fileserver could do the job, or a USB/Firewire external DVD drive placed on the desktop...

But nice to notice that. That thought never crossed my mind, as I'm stunned by the quality work of this mod

    USB DVD?

What about the expansion slots at the back?

The universe will go on, indifferent to our brief existence, but while we are here we touch not just part of that vastness, but also the lives around us. Life is the gift each of us has been given. Each life is our own and no one else's. It is precious beyond all counting. It is the greatest value we have. Cherish it for what it truly is."
