One question, what operating system are you using?
If it is XP x64 and you got SP2+updates for it then clockgen and NV stuff is NO GO!
However it is working with SP1(at least for me)

You need to select the correct PLL, make sure you are selecting either the correct PLL or one which is compatible.
Sometimes selecting the wrong one then attempting to adjust setting will cause a hardlock.
All along the watchtower the watchmen watch the eternal return.
