The size of my old mousepad on that thing just looks ridiculous!

More pics! The Ultra X3 PSU

The most gorgeous PSU i have ever seen in my life! The sleeving* on the cables is just amazing. The cables bends so easy, it'll be a real pleasure to route them in my case. Also the way the cables connect to the PSU is just amazing!

    __________________________________________________ ____

Update: As i said earlier, i have some pics of my new Desk! I re-arranged my room too!

    My watercooling shelf!

Looks good eh! 149.99$ for that desk!

PS: For the Video lovers, i have recorded a small 2 mins video of my room. It's on Youtube : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EcOHZEVLSNU Enjoy

Update: Look what the Canada Post guy gave me today!

Gorgeous blocks, more Tubing (I have around 40ft of tubing total. 20ft of Masterkleer (cr@p) tubing and 17ft or Tygon 1/2" ID 3/4" OD. I originally bought the Masterkleer months ago but i felt it was awful and not pleasant to work with, so i trashed it on my desk and used Tygon Tubing instead. I now use it as a safe Tubing... ), Rev.2 bottom EK res for my Ek 150 Res, Some Ek barbs, some Worm drives and finally, 2 Scythes fans for my up-coming PA120.2.

    Working on it...

PS: I just got an e-mail back from Xoxide.com's customer support and it seems that i need to pay for shipping back the keyboard to them Imagine guys, that makes the damn keyboard worth around 140$ USD... The next one better be freaking 100% working!

Let the early Christmas continue! More stuff arrived today!

Look at that gorgeous 24" monitor! My only concern is that either my desk or floor isn't straight which makes one side of the monitor to lean. Hooked something under the leg and all is good. Maybe it is a default with the supporting arm of the monitor too. Oh well, i can live with that

Here i prepared the pump for usage Also sleeved it.

Mounted the Tuniq with the back-plate and some neopropene to prevent shorts.

Only thing remaining to arrive is my PA120.2 from Jab-Tech should be here Monday or Tuesday.

PS: Tonight im working on hooking everything onto the Bench table and running on air just for testing. Then, tomorrow, i'll work on disassembling my U2-UFO and preparing it for the watercooling loops
    __________________________________________________ ____

    UPDATE!

I just finished cleaning my room and assembling the rig on my bench table. I haven't hooked all 4GB and my X-FI Xtrememusic sound card yet. I will do when i know that everything is working great. Now comes the time to press the power button and i am nervous. Will everything boot up fine? I doubt it. There is always something going wrong on first boot for me...

    Small Update!

    Look what i received today

A nice Thermochill PA120.2 with some gaskets and Polypropene barbs since it's IMPOSSIBLE to find metallic barbs for that rad...

I think it can't be more clear than that... I didn't knew Thermochill had included that message with there Rads. I guess Hot water it'll be then!

My new EVGA 680I A1 is scheduled to be here on October 18-19th.. Until that time, ill clean my PA120.2, prepare my case, start the watercooling etc... Will updates as work gets slowly done!
    ____________________________________

    Update!

Well, while im patiently waiting for the new mobo to arrive, i decided to start working on the case and watercooling stuff. So firstly, what i did was to take that defective EVGA 680I A1 and put it back into it's box and get ready to ship it back for RMA. I took my P5B Deluxe and hooked all my stuff on it and installed Vista Ultimate X64.

Then i started cleaning the case since the P5B Deluxe + mobo tray were out the case. I removed the watercooling loop, cleaned the case (Dust, sticky parts due to tape etc..).

As you guys can see, pretty much all wires\cables are already sleeved I had to sleeve the 2 fans for the back PA120.2 tho.

Once the case cleaning was done, i ran HOT water for a good 5mins through my new PA120.2.

    Good idea eh!

Once all clean, i hooked the gaskets, the fans and in the case it went

After all that, i went to bed for 3 long hours (...) before going to work @ 6AM today.

Now im back and i'll work on disassembling my loop, clean the parts and hook the PA120.3 back into the case and ready for watercooling Once the new board gets home ill make sure that it's fully working, i might do the vdroop pencil mod and then it'll go under watercooling! Updates will follow...

Indeed! 2 years ago, i had promised myself never to buy an Ultra PSU again! But hey, guess what? I did it again! And i think i did a safe choice right here. This PSU keeps getting good reviews all over. I tell you this, i haven't tried it yet, but it looks like one hell of a PSU!
