Its B1 or that "Stepping 4" reported by CPU-Z is the real stepping?

It is great. Gives you 2.3V for the cpu and ALOT of volts for the rest of the things you might wanna play around with. It clocks the cpu and memory high. Very good intreface for setting memory timings. Cooling is great, I love that they have separated the heatpipes between mosfets and the chipset. And ofc Crossfire perf is the best I've seen.

you can't say fairer than that, what would you say the performance difference between the ddr3 and ddr2 board 1-2% something like that i fancy the extreme board but it would mean dumping by old friends corsair cas3's and sinking some serious dosh into some ddr3 ram which if the performance difference isn't massive between them the formula edition would be a more economic choice

Yes perf difference between Micron DDR2 and DDR3 is pretty big. But I wouldnt say that it is worth spending the cash for a new set of DDR3 at this point if you have a pair of good DDR2. Unless you are running alot of 3DMark 05 DDR3 rocks in 3DMark 05.

That CPU looks 'ok'. Actually I am VERY impressed of how much you gained with it. I do think there are plenty of WRs that are going to be broken this autumn.

Holy Moly that 05 is impressive.

Excellent work Kinc, yes we all want to see what a 45nm does on 2001. Please spend a little time with this.

I would think 03 would be pretty good as well even with Ati not being favoured of course in this bench.

Hey, although this is a 3D benching area that SuperPi 2D test is pretty good also Bet you were blown away by that session ?

    Regards

    Andy

Great scores Kinc! Looking forward for next weekend

I wont' start new thread for this, but just started my own Radeon HD 2900 XT CrossFire benches with QX6850 and Asus Blitz Formula. CPU with dryice cooling and graphic cards with stock cooling, 3DMark06 23677. Managed to overtake Fugger and gprhellas:
