First I warmed up them with a hair dryer and then I just pulled

lol yeah, i tried pulling them off while cold

i dont own a hair dryer (lol) so im having to warm them up in the pc first .... 400*9 @ 2.2v should be plenty warm

I decided to pull my PC out of it's case as my P5N32-E arrives on monday (hopefully), and I'll have to run it on the desk to test the mobo works before I put it all in the case anyway.

Thanks. It isn't paint ... that's actually the color of the aluminium

heat baked case. like in the automotive industries. it makes the paint "the case" if you see what i mean.

I pulled the P4-connector out of the board, but it was still power on it.
