Thanks for the info. Looks v.good. In terms of fitting the modders mesh, thats pretty much what I was considering. Just abit bothered about cutting into the side panels of a brand new lian li! What are you using to cut it? A dremmel or do u have better tools?

When its all done would be good to see the final thing!

Thanks. By additive I believe you mean my coolant right..? I use VooDoo Blue SupercoolantŪ. I lucked up and obtained some from a friend of mine that owns a few watercooled VooDoo PC's. Voodoo only gives its coolant out to registered customers for maintenance - he had a few bottles laying around and gave me a couple.

And yes I polished the divider plate of my V1200.

you know you could have better temps if the top 120mm cooler would blow air INTO the case and not OUT of the case. At least it had that effect on mine 8800GTS ;]

Excellent thread...I ordered a V1200B Plus case...this thread just gave me a bunch of ideas as to how I want it to look when done...great work everyone...hopefully more people will continue to contribute to this.

If anyone is interested, HardOCP had a dedicated thread to Lian-Li cases too and there is a lot of good work done there as well.

    Karateo,

pull some of your cables behind the MB tray and to the other side of the case... clean up some cables...

and if you are going to put it on top of your dresser like that, remove the wheels for more stability...

it looks like you just got hit by an earthquake...

hmm , i have mine V1000B sitting on the ground beside the desk , but i have the "break" set to off and the "rubber protection bands" on the wells , looks like it will not slide away when you have them on ect. Anyway a good clean cable management is a must in this case ;D , i must make some time to use the dremel to mod mod mod
