    thats the big question

im guessing its penryn on a x38 (possibly using g92)

which would mean Jan (maybe) for penryn

about a week or two for x38

    november for 92

if i remember correctly the big question is it really worth waiting for over the q6600?

Both Harpertown (45nm Xeon server/workstation) and "extreme" desktop Penryn are launching in Q4.

Nov 11 for the Xeon stuff, per Intel's disti price sheet that used to be public, not sure about extreme desktop.

I bet Intel wanted that but with no SLI is hard to think of this, probably HD 2900 on X-fire.

Nvidia only if intel wants to show SLI with hacked drivers this can be done.

Fugger is running Quad Phenoms. I know, I seen the setup today.

    Oops....typo.

As quoted by LowRun......"So, we are one week past AMD's worst case scenario for BD's availability but they don't feel like communicating about the delay, I suppose AMD must be removed from the reliable sources list for AMD's products launch dates"

Yeah, every time he goes to talk to the Intel people, they cringe at his shirt
"To exist in this vast universe for a speck of time is the great gift of life. Our tiny sliver of time is our gift of life. It is our only life. The universe will go on, indifferent to our brief existence, but while we are here we touch not just part of that vastness, but also the lives around us. Life is the gift each of us has been given. Each life is our own and no one else's. It is precious beyond all counting. It is the greatest value we have. Cherish it for what it truly is."
