Back on topic - new bios and the P35 Lanparty. Andre it has made a huge difference to me from a benching perspective - the bios has made it more stable to bench (on air) at 4.1Ghz. Thank you very very much.

Personally I am finding it very challenging (but enjoyable) trying to figure out this mobo, but I would like a more detailed (technical) explanation of what all the myriad bios settings do or are - as well as the relationship between them. I worked out mathematically that to physically test each setting that is available in the current bios would take over 1256 reboots and that is just individual settings not how they interact to and with each other. Total number of permutations is 1575 K plus.

Only real time consuming part is clock fine delay values for me. 8/23 bios make it much easier to work with though. I just which 5:8 divider would work properly heh

More memory tests this time focusing on performance in terms of Super Pi 32M efficiency at around 3800-3850Mhz range.

First, here is a 32M run @3800Mhz with 2x1GB OCZ PC3-14400 Platinum @8x475FSB 1:2 950mhz 7-7-7-18 resulting in 12m 33.281s completion time. Yes used Q6600 G0 retail cpu on DDR3 system so probably not 100% comparable.

Now here's DFI LP UT P35-T2R comparison with 2x1GB Crucial Ballistix PC2-8500 @9x475FSB 5:6 570mhz 4-4-4-9 bios boot as well as a 2nd run with windows memset tweaked timings.

Bios booted 32M run

Memset tweaked 32M run

DFI LP UT P35-T2R

Used setFSB to bump FSB from 475FSB to 481FSB leaving Memset tweaked stetings in place.
