surprised he hasn't used his X38 board
maybe he was showing off the powa of the Blitz board first

extremely impressive and i am sure it would have been even nicer with high FSB chip......Jason need a 600MHz FSB to compete here heh

Elmor how much of a boost are we talking about or are you going to have to be quiet until 24th

    Thank you guys

there is more left in this cpu. Have to order new caps so i can mod this extreme for higher cpu clock freq. This chip can do about 460 fsb on blitz with high clock freq.

But know im of to china to visit gigabyte and test their x38 dq6

I hope you will have fun in China and that you give 3D06 a run with that chip.

Surely those are not NDA as well. After you hard time in Germany I am pleased to see how strong you bounced back from that adversity.
Cards are running only 1000/980MHz with 1.4Vgpu and default voltages for memory. Cpu is running on ~1.84V (need cap mod for it to scale with more voltage). Memory is running on 2.04V 1:2 7-6-5-15 1T TRFC=40. Perf lvl is at 7 for safe runs. Perf. lvl 6 works and will provide about 100 points for next runs.

    what?
core at 1000 and you take down 35K

can you PLS take that CPU of yours to china and give that Gigabyte board a hard time with monster vcore to see how it compares to Asus

Yes the PCIE bandwidth is a big bottleneck so higher clocks dont help that much on p35.

Ive tested the cpu on the X38 DQ6 and I was stunned by how good it performs and clocks. 5500MHz for 05 wont be a problem and Crossfire on X38is very good. Will have som runs on that motherboard when I'm home again

I also have Maximus waiting at home wich is going to be tested very soon.

HD2900XT Crossfire runing 1120/960MHz on Maximus Formula X38 with 5.1GHz QX6850. X38 helps crossfire perf. alot!

50 MHz lower core clock than your published run yet all GPU limited tests are faster. Nice!

I have tested 05 and there is a very nice boost in gt3 of about 6-9 fps depending on cpu clock. For 06 gt2 and gt3 gets a boost. Ofc not that big in gt2 but gt3 is around 5 fps!

I wont be running more on QX6850 now
