For those who have cut holes in their case for cable management

Did you have to take all the inside out, and then replace/re-rivet it all again?

if you take literally everything out... i guess you can keep the inside cleaner
vs leaving it on and having to remove he bits that come off when your dremeling

Nice wiring, I love a machine where the wires vanish. It seems that the application of sound insulating material really cleans up the internal appearance as well, gives me some ideas!

Yes i sand and polished it. It wasn't very hard just time consuming.

I started with 1000 grit, then moved to 1500 grit, then 2000. This takes 4-5 hours to get it smooth enough. Always wetsand and make sure the paper is clean/changed often. After all that then I used 3M rubbing compound to fininsh it off.

Very very nice - excellent cable management!! How/where did you tuck the PSU cables, I didn't realize there's room behind the motherboard tray? What sound dampening material are you using, did you find it made a noticeable difference considering the vent holes all over?

    Thanks

The sound dampening stuff was from performance PC (Noise Pax Sound Dampening Material) the sound dampening abilities was really just a side benefit.. My main goal was to cover up those holes to give it a cleaner appearance, I never ran it without the stuff so I'm unsure how much difference it makes.

Here is a couple shots of the cable management on the backside of the case. Hehe just noticed a cable I should zip tie...

disruptfam - Nice rig mate. Im thinking of getting a V2000b and want to put a tripple rad in the bottom like you have. However, from the pics ive seen there are no vents at on the side of the case to draw air through... can you confirm this is the case? Did u bother adding any in yourself?

Also, i see you have two loops - in an ideal world I would like to do this... its not clear from your pic where the what or where the 2nd rad is?

Few pics of my V1200. The V2000 seems to be more popular.

Anybody having problems with the rail that holds the sides of the case on vibrating and producing noise? I am experiencing this with a V2000B. I have an eheim 1250 in the bottom which is bolted down through a pad of neoprene and a bunch of 120mm fans...

Well atm i have no doors on my v2000,i'm in the process of cutting them and putting moder's mesh for airflow.

I have two slimline triple rads in the bottom section. Originally had two larger triple rads would not fit.So i squeezed two smaller 3x rads.I had to sacrafice performance to fit both of them in... But i'm very happy with my project...

    here's a pic

Dark prodigy i love the how to did the mid section to a mirror finish,I'm considering doing the same
