    P5E3 X38 13.4GB/s everest read air cooled

This may be my forst post in this section on XS. Since I dont have a complete rigg to run any 3D at this point after the robbery in germany I'm playing around with a new motherboard and new memory. P5E3 clocks the cpu very high.

Air cooled with 23C aimbent temp.

Air cooled with 9C air from outdoors and only 1 active core.

I guess he meant DDR2 timings, like 5-5-5-X-ish,
CL7 aint DDR2 territory, but is impressive at such freqs - holy 2000MHz DDR
Sometimes a good slap in the face is all you need

It says Q6850, but yet...it also only shows 2 cores in CPU-Z...I think it's just an E6850. Still very impressive cpu clocks for the cooling and temps.

Good lord almighty! That is just sick.

As for the 6850, it does so it as an ES so that might help explain the error being read as QX6850.

I sure hope some more X38 reviews can pop up in the next week. The suspense is killing us.

Or he's referring to the 7.05ns total latency this clock and CAS results in.
In case of DDR2 you would need 709MHz CAS5 or 567MHz CAS4 to get a similar latency.

Anyway, it would've been nice to see some pictures of the actual RAM.
Maybe some P/Ns or a photo of the ICs, although they'd probably be Micron D9GTx or a Z9 equivalent.

    Great results nevertheless!

It's a QX with two cores disabled. There is no error.
