They are very quiet on the low setting, but have to be the fast and loudest Air Movers I have seen if the dial is turned up.

I can almost instantly see a two Degree drop in the Mobo Temp when I turn them all on.

did you spray the whole thing black? it looks really good. Cable management is great too. The black SATA cables really help.

Man I'm waiting till there's a deal on this case so I can order it. Cheapest I can get it is 100 bucks but I'm sure it can go lower with a mail-in rebate and such.

Obviously he is asking you where is your cd/dvd drive installed since the three 120mm fans use up all the front panel bays.
I assume you have an external drive hooked up.
Anyway, I like your three fan setup for the front
I am still setting up my 900. Three fans would be cool but I want to use my dvd drive in the top slot so will have to stay with two. I only use one hd so I removed the two hd cages and raised both the front fans to the top, just below the very first slot. Hopefully this will work ok for airflow.

Its always nicer to see painted interiors as against that dull original metal finish... very nice work on your rig, matt c....
I'm sure when you find the time you'll do the same for your hdd cages... lol, i did them too after a while( i just can't stand them not painted).

Like the idea of painting inside black
I've done all my dremeling ( well part from some cutouts i need to make on mesh front fan covers , so i can fit some filters between them and fan)

been watching this thread for ages - and fully intend to post some pics when i get completed

one tip i can give that i am doing
i noticed a few people have used insulation tape etc to cover sharp sheet metal edges on cutouts - I have bought some blue 3mm motor vacuum pump hose - a nice slit in it along it's length, cut to needed sizes - and it slides over the cut edges

try having them powder coated and you will find no need to cover those edges... smooth and rounded...

Changed my mind on the black painting

managed to get hold of a cheap tin of fast dry enamel CHROME
i might even use it on the antec fan blades

should make inside of case with the blue leds

    That looks really nice...

Another question.. if im using 1HD, how would you suggest setting up the front fans ? it seems some people put them at the bottom, others at the top... i plan on running 2 dvd drives, so im kinda wondering what's everyone reasoning for where they place them !

    TY

When you put the optical drives in the bottom you will have both hdd cage fans blowing air over the CPU cooler and over the GPU. This might shave off a degree or 2.

i put my optical drives in the middle with fans on top and bottom making 2 wind tunnels pretty much. It runs at 19c idle (q6600/asus p5n32-e)

Im guessing just a screw driver to take the whole thing apart and then black spray paint from walmart.
