    Have you put a quad on the commando? If so, how did it overclock?

    yup tried my Q6600 B3 ES L632A (did 3920Mhz on water) on same cooling http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=154453 went to 4256Mhz at 1.568v 32M http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...98&postcount=6

    didn't try much higher as my E6850 L723A347 arrived so swapped it out

    E6850 + eVGA 8800GTX EK Acetal H20 cooled

    Swapped in my eVGA 8800GTX EK Acetal H20 cooled video card which does 648/1512/2060 unmodded and as I found can sometimes bench at 675mhz GPU when PCI-E frequency is set at 120Mhz

    System
    • E6850 L723A347
    • Kayl Black FrozenSS 1/4HP
    • Asus Commando 1501 bios flashed from 1404 bios
    • eVGA 8800GTX EK Acetal H20 with 163.44 drivers
    • 2x1GB OCZ PC2-8000 Titanium Alpha VX2 +
    • 2x1GB Team 6400C3 Micron D9GMH cooled - all ram cooled by 3x 60x25mm Sunon 23.5cfm Maglev fans
    • 80GB Hitachi 7K80 SATA on Promise SATA300 TX4 32bit/66mhz PCI controller
    • Pioneer DVR-08 Burner
    • Sony FDD
    • 620W Corsair HX620 Modular PSU
    • WinXP Pro SP2

    PCI-E frequency set to 120mhz in bios

    4644Mhz - 9x516FSB

    Starting with 9x516FSB 1:1 4-4-4-5 with 4x1GB memory configuration at 1.75v bios set (1.696v to 1.704v vcore).

    @675/2060

    3dmark05 = 23,965
    http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm05=3435612

    AM3 = 247,222

    4608Mhz - 9x512FSB

    @648/2060

    Had to drop down to 9x512FSB 1:1 for 3dmark2003 and 3dmark06

    3dmark2003 = 47,976
    http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k3=5515235

    3dmark06 = 13,902
    http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=2988601

    Tried a 3dmark2001 run @4608Mhz which was fine with 7800GTX but with 8800GTX in place freezing in Nature for some reason ? PCI-E frequency related ? More testing to come

    Had to drop down to 9x501FSB to pass 3dmark2001 Nature which is weird. Any higher and Nature part blanks out ???

    @648/2060

    3dmark2001 = 78,217
    http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=9254913 (beats my previous PB with single 8800GTX of 74,913)

    Nice benches Eva! Nature is the hardest one to get through in 3D01 no doubt. I had to drop from 5133->5085 CPU clock (DI) on my E6850 to get by it as well

    Wow, quads really do make short work of single stages
