You can see the Rev. in Rivatuner or on the GPU

guys whats the max you can do on the memory safely? Im at ~ 1.96-1.97 and am getting an artifact occassionaly in ati tool at 1ghz.

Ok guys I've got my card to 690/1000 with 2.05 on the vmem using pencil mod, core is at stock. Currently under load at 54 with hr-03 and scythe 120mm fan attached to it. Totally silent. Love it :]

i got my a3 board to run past the a2's 1.43 ovp somehow.(1.47)
a little dry ice in case to cool card down but still stock heatsink

i do the vGPU mod on my GTS320Mb but i get 1.84v with 1k vr...
it's a twintech revA3 702/1150 (only vgddr mod)

any idea?

Yes of course, 972ohms exactly

I had put 503ohms and i obtained.... 2.46v
972ohms = 1.84v
503ohms = 2.46v

so I will try to put a 10k vr set to 2k

EDIT : it's ok I have 1.60v with 2k... i'm actually at 1.45 stock cooling...

Same method can be used with GTS. With this mod you just strengthen power supply on GTX/GTS cards.

You don't need this mod, if you are not using voltages over ~1.6V.

Actually I never did this mod myself.

I think that you can replace those coils/inductors if you find the datasheet of those on the card. Values should be quite similar or more stronger. Best option is, that I send you one of those coils in a letter. Send PM to me if you are interested.

Sorry to revive an old thread. I just memory volt modded my GTS with a 10K Ohm fixed resistor, but havent booted up yet. My original resistance to ground was 537 ohms, with the mod its 511 ohms (26 ohms less). I read that 5K ohm (when original mem voltage was 1.81v) raised it to 1.86v. I also saw people with the EVGA cards saying they got 2v+ with a 5K resistor. Ive read on madshrimps -10ohm = +0.05v, so going by that i would have 2.0v.
My initial voltage was 1.87v, anyone care to speculate what i will have witha 10K on there?

I get 1.97v idle, 1.98v load using a 10k resistor. It has actually made my overclock worse, before i could do 2052 no artifacts now i can only do 2016. I will be replacing the 10k with a 20k VR tomorrow and tune it back to stock.
Might also do the vgpu mod but i really need better cooling first.

EDIT: I replaced the 10K with a 20K VR, and with it and set to 20k i get 1.92v. I also did the vgpu mod with a 20k, its too sensitive though i should have used a 5 or 10K. OCP kicks in when idle vgpu set to 1.45v. As i am only on stock cooling, i have settled on 1.36v idle (1.31v load), which gives me 675/1620/2000. It hits 82*C in benches, and 85*C gaming.

On my GTS 320mb it was STOCK @2.08 ....I did pencil mod to make it an even 2.10v , it took only one good stike from a number two pencil.. 2304mhz stable no artifacts...Ive even run my shader @1836/2304 in 3Dmark06 ..No artifacts after 6runs of 3D back to back.. Aircooled
