    Interesting that a $360.00 MoBo has only 2 x16 PCI-E...

It's nice that memory support is 1066 but that can be done manually on most other boards.

honestly iam not sure on release date sorry.

I would imagine how quickly asus has been pumping out new boards, somewhere after sept 14th.

two pcie slots is enough. imo, i would rather have the extra PCI

    iam waiting for abit ix38

At that price, it had BETTER be real Cu instead of the anodized Al they have been passing off as copper for some time...

I'll be curious how this stacks up agains the P5Es. I have been using ASUS boards for as long as I can remember, but their prices are getting a bit ridiculous even from them....and that's saying a lot

It will probably stack up quite similar.

The Blingy "Named" Mobos have unnamed, De-Blinged counterparts..

The Striker is a noce looking piece, but it came out at a redic cost when you could get the same for less in the form of the P5N-32...

    It does look nice however..

Does anyone know which platform it's based off??

I thought it was copper that I removed from my P5N...

Now that I look again, looks like I was wrong..

Definately looks X38 based seeing the size of the NB sink.

Interested to see the new line of boards

It is x38, though I want to see what abit has in store, dfi as well.

This was true of both the striker and the crosshair, and then both dropped in price rapidly.

If I go with Asus MB, then this would be my first time going with Asus. I have never bought a Asus Board before and I am looking foward to the new X38 Intel and Asus Motherboard. I read somewhere, Doesn't this board support the upcoming X48 Chipset? Hopefully someone can correct me, if I am worng. All though I think the price is pretty crazy for this board.

    P.S. Fusion

I like the PCI slot north of the PCI-E, I've been wanting that forever.

Just bring back active cooling on the NB, SB, and Mosfet area instead of using all of this passive heatsinks that will eventually take up half the board.
