Unfortunately not. but that is how mine turned out?? Couldn't get a mirror finish no matter how I tried and I finished off with 2000 & 2500 grades.

Mine seems to have a darker patch from the edges??

Maybe I was using too much water??

Damn water, wow man i hope your chip is ok. Why you used water ?

Says so in lapping kit guide and makes grit last longer. Will I get away with trying again?

Chip running OK ATM cores are as follows on water:

Core 0 - 38
Core 1 - 36
Core 2 - 33
Core 3 - 37

Dunno if above is OK?

these are good temperatures IMOP.
