Hmm I was debating getting an 8500/8600GT or a 2400/2600XT for an htpc rig. This makes the decision that much easier now.

I see what I see, and you see what you see. I can't make you see what I see, but I can tell you what I see is not what you see. Truth is, we see what we want to see, and what we want to see is what those around us see. And what we don't see is... well, conspiracies.

That is awesome, and funny lol.

But Nvidia didnt even cheat here, ATI is trying to call out a normal process of improving video quality as a cheat in hopes the normal consumer at less knowledge base will believe it. If the same process is also used in all video feeds, then this is just a normal process of improving video. Now, if this process is only used for benching, its a cheat, clearly.

Can someone eradicate this by doing a test, to see if this process is used with all video feeds with this driver?

It is for benching only. If the hardware can't do what you say it does, no need to cheat in benchmarks to get a higher score by providing worse quality.

It's fud. Not saying it's not true, but at the same time, if it is true we'll see this on more sites soon.

Either way, it is a beta driver, and it's a beta driver that was released specifically for bioshock. If it has problems elsewhere, that wouldn't be a big surprise, now would it? After all, it is, infact, a beta driver.

Image quality in gaming, which is what these cards are for in the first place, is top-notch.
